My dog can't get in the car without assistance and steps are not good for her. After she gets into the car with this ramp, how easy is it to put in the car or trunk? Thanks

Saves my back!
I have an Australian Shepherd that is about 70 pounds. She just turned 12 and has some problems getting in and out of my Rav 4. She used to ride in the backseat, but now I'm having her ride in the cargo area for more room and easier entry. She didn't want to use the step at first but today I was able to coax her into trying again. She did it, yay!!! It was kind of like loading a race horse into the gate at the Kentucky Derby, had to circle round, get momentum going and it finally worked. I'm sure this is going to save my back. If you have tried and your dog did want to use it, don't give up, keep trying! It's worth it!

Well Made Stairs
This is a great item, but unfortunately our small dog could not be convinced to use it. I think it's the hollow sound when he jumps on it from the sofa that scares him. He's a timid old guy so it's not the product's fault. It's sturdy but has a different feel than something that would be solid. I can't give it a negative review just because Baxter refused to use it - that's on him.

Just what we needed!
Fast delivery and my two 80 pound elder dogs love the single step! It's large enough for them to get all four paws on the step before hopping into the backseat of our SUV. Just the boost they needed! Bought it for travel, but now plan to use it in the house too. It will work great beside the bed. Thought it was a little pricey, but after receiving I decided it was of good quality and exactly fit our need so it was money well spent!

Great product
All my dogs and cats love this step. Especially my elderly dog who barely can go up to couches and beds.Now with this step she don't have any problem to get up. We ordered 1 step,after few days we ordered another 2 ,because we are really happy with it.-Thank you !

Easy assembly
This was easy to assembly and seems very sturdy. Our 35 pound dog learned to use it in just a few days. I am a little worried the cats will claw the carpet, thinking it's a scratching post, but so far, so good.

Stepping Out with Ease
My 11-year old Golden, Harry has acute Arthritis in his elbows. This fantastic step reduces the impact on his joints when he is getting in-and-out of the car. It is light enough for me to carry in-and-out of the trunk, yet sturdy enough to hold his weight. I tried using a ramp and it was too intimidating, Harry wanted no part of it. This step is the perfect solution. He is now able to travel in the car with me, without experiencing pain.

Excellent step for elderly dog
My dog is 65 lbs and 12 years old. It's becoming more difficult for him to get onto the couch--his favorite place to nap. So far, he's been using it to get onto the couch, but still needs reminding to use it getting down. This product is lightweight, yet very sturdy, and the carpeted top provides a good grip. It's very portable to bring on road trips for getting in and out of the car. This step has become so helpful that I'm purchasing another for the futon in my office.

Not machine washable
I LOVE THIS RAMP! My 50 lb dog will literally run at it and vault onto the couch. It's sturdy and not too steep. It's one of his favorite ramps (we have several different kinds). My only complaint is that the rug is not good quality and is not machine washable even though it claims to be. I had to have my washer serviced after washing because the backing disintegrated and my washer stopped working.

You can teach an old dog new tricks!
I thought I might have a hard time getting our 14 year old dog to use this step, but with some of his favorite treats and a couple of days he got the hang of it. He has arthritis and jumping is getting difficult. This has made getting up on the couch much easier. It's not perfect though. It may be a bit of a steep angle from some dogs.

My short-legged dachshund/aussie mix is getting up there in years and has recently started having trouble getting up on the couch, which is his favorite place to be. He absolutely refuses to use the carpeted pet stairs that I got him a few years ago, so I thought I'd try this one-step version. He's still a bit reluctant, but he is slowly starting to use it (mostly with a little prompting from me). I docked it one star only because I think the price is rather high given that it's just plastic with a thin carpet piece on top.
